Greetings Parents!  Is everyone excited to make our SECOND long course trip up to Burlington?  We LOVE their FAST newer outdoor pool :) Don't forget your sunscreen + shade, and pack up the cooler! Here are the details, it's going to be loads of fun! -GCAC Coaching Staff-

           FACiLiTY           
One eight-lane outdoor 50m pool!
There is limited spectator seating, parents please bring your own chairs and arrive early to ensure you have a good spot!  The pool deck will be crowded, swimmers please bring a chair or blanket to sit on!  Swimmers/Teams are welcome to set up sun shade/a canopy on the grass adjacent to the pool.

There are ample free parking lots around the park; street parking is at your own risk. Priority parking will be reserved for Meet Management and Coaches.  For a map of the facility, please see page 11 of the Meet Package.

           SPECiAL NOTES         
-All events are Timed Finals!
-ONE START rule, one false start is a DQ!
-No food, no street shoes and no GO FISH on deck. Cribbage is way better!
-Please ensure your swimmer has sunscreen and sunglasses :)
-There are NO lockers at this pool, pack a blanket or chair to sit on!
-Swimmers are limited to four individual entries per session!
-There will be BELL prizes during random heats! 
-Medals will be awarded for top 3: 11+U, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15+Ov

One 10-lane 50m pool plus swimmers will have access to the dive tank, an 8-lane 25m warm-up/warm-down pool throughout the meet. There is plenty of spectator seating and parents must pay for parking. There is a Booster Juice and a cafe on site, as well as a Team Aquatic Supply!

There will be an "A" final only for the top 10 swimmers of each event.

~All events are prelims except distance freestyle events
~Events will be seeded from slowest to fastest, except for distance free events!

~Absolutely NO Pokemon on deck; Lego is acceptable!  
~Swimmers will race combined but will be separated (age categories) for finals!
~Please bring shoes/sandals to wear on deck and in the locker rooms!

               FACiLiTY               
One 50m pool with dual scoreboards; warm-up and warm-down facilities will be accessible throughout the meet.  There is on-deck bleacher spectator seating, and free parking. There is a snack bar on site by the hockey rinks, but families might want to pack extra food just in case.

All Ages - Morning Prelims!

What a FABULOUS Championship!!!

We had an AMAZING team experience competing against the TOP swimmers in Ontario!   You're FANTASTIC! 

Swim Ontario Awarded GCAC as the Small Team Champions again, for the second consecutive Festivals!!!

Congratulations to ALL of our team members for their INCREDIBLE swims! We had a tons of fun, lots of best times, TOP finishes + medals, and many team records shattered!  You are ALL amazing! 
  
Here is our TOP scoring results: Madison (58 pts), Jared (27 pts), Syrah (7 pts), and Anwyn (3 pts).  100% best times: Jared + Madison + Peyton! Congrats to our newest Easterns Qualifier: Jared! Congratulations to our new CJC Qualifier: Anwyn!

There were 8O teams participating, and our seven AWESOME girls and our two AWESOME boys came in combined.... 14th place  ...PHENOMENAL !!!  

The coaches are extremely HAPPY and THRiLLED with everyone's efforts :) What a great championship, as our EXCiTiNG and FuN year continues  :)
