SC: MSSAC Open

Greetings Parents! Is everyone excited to make our annual hike up to Mississauga? Here are the details, it's going to be a FAST weekend!  -GCAC Coaching Staff-

        FACILITY       
One eight-lane 25m pool!
There is limited off-deck spectator seating; there is ample pay parking. There will be a snack bar on site as well as an exercise facility if our parents feel like a quick workout during warm-up!   :)


       SESSIONS       
-Session 1-
All Age Groups - Friday Afternoon - Timed Finals
Warm-up~4:00-4:55pm / Start~5:00pm

-Session 2 + Session 4-
13+O Girls & 12&U Boys - Mornings - Timed Finals 
Warm-up~7:00-7:55am / Start~8:00am

-Session 3 + Session 5-                                                                                    
13+O Boys & 12&U Girls - Afternoons - Timed Finals                                 
Warm-up~12:00-12:55pm / Start~1:00pm


       MEET FEES      
$10.00 per individual event 
$13.00 per distance event
$15.00 per relay/4=$3.75 each
$10.00 coaching fee per swimmer
Please submit fees by Wed., December 3rd

Please help support our club by volunteering!  The sign-up should be available on the OSOA website soon!   

    SPECIAL NOTES    
-All events are Timed Finals!
-ONE START rule, one false start is a DQ!
-No food, no street shoes and no jigsaw puzzles on deck!
-Please bring a lock to store your valuables in the locker room!
-Swimmers are limited to three individual entries+ 1 relay per day!
-Events seeded slowest to fastest; distance events seeded fastest to slowest!
-Individual medals 1st-3rd, 4th-8th will receive ribbons: GIRLS-10&U, 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15&O; BOYS-11&U, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15&O

re: Aces Fall Invitational Meet Results!

 Congratulations  is definitely in order for everyone's accomplishments during the meet this weekend!  We faced tough competition against large teams, and ended up with some best times, new qualifiers, close races & lots of finals!

The coaches are very proud of everyone!

Once again,a  SPECIAL  thanks to all of our parents + siblings who came to cheer on their swimmers, and the volunteers who officiated!  (Specially on the toasty pool deck!)

WAAC scored the 10+U, 11+12, 13+14, 15+O combined; the age groups weren't scored individually. Out of the 9 teams in attendance, we came in 7th overall!  The boys came in 7th and our girls came in 5th!  Great job! 

We discovered a fun meet, a new pool (in the middle of nowhere), the difference between 'Kitchener' + 'Waterloo',  
and we will definitely come back again next year!
