Congratulations on a weekend well swum Team!  :)

We officially closed the short course season with a  FANTASTIC  meet in Burlington!  We had GREAT individual effort,  AWESOME  breakout swims, team records set, and an overall fun +  EXCiTiNG  meet!  

The coaches are so proud of everyone!

Thanks to all of our parents + siblings who came to cheer on their athletes, and the volunteers who officiated!

Special congrats to our newest competitive team member -Matthew- in his first competition with his GCAC teammates! He also had three festival times, way to go!

             .  FACILITY                
One 8-lane 50m pool divided into two 25m competition pools.
There's plenty of on-deck seating for spectators and free parking.


             .   SESSIONS                 
ALL - Morning Sessions
   Warm-ups~7:30-8:50am / Starts~9:00am
ALL - Final Sessions
   Warm-ups~5:00-5:50pm / Starts~6:00pm 


            .  MEET FEES               
$15.00 per event 
$10.00 coaching fee
$5.65 splash fee per swimmer
Please submit all fees by Wed. February 25th


        .  SCRATCH DEADLINE

14yrs qualifying in one event may swim TWO bonus events.
14yrs qualifying in two events will receive ONE bonus event. 
14yrs qualifying in three+ events will receive ZERO bonus events. 
15yrs qualifying in one event may swim ONE bonus event. 
15yrs qualifying in two+ events will receive ZERO bonus events. 


           .  FINALS              
There will be an "A" final only for the top 8 swimmers of each event.


           .  SPECIAL NOTES              
-All events are Timed Finals; one false start rule applies.
-Events will be seeded from slowest to fastest!
-Food is permitted on deck; please bring lots of fluids!
-Bring a lock to store your valuables in the locker room!
-Please be sure your swimmer has a good night sleep prior to racing!

re: Spring Session Registration!

Greetings Everyone!

We've had a great year to date with our recreational swimmers!  It seems to have flown by for our non-competitive groups as our Winter Session is wrapping up! 

The Garden City Aquatic Club will open registration for the Spring Session this week!  The next session begins right after spring break, the week of March 23rd when the kids return to school, and runs through the first week of school!

You can drop by during the time frame outlined below to register...

What a FAST meet... we had a great team experience swimming among the best in Ontario!  This was the first Winter Festival for ALL five of our qualifiers!

Congratulations to ALL our team members for their  AMAZING swims!  We had lots of best times, goals set + accomplished and team records broken!
