There is ample spectator seating and free parking; the building also has a library! Please arrive early to ensure good seats!

Warm-up~7:00am / Start~8:00am
12&Unders - Saturday + Sunday Afternoon
Warm-up~12:30pm / Start~1:30pm

$9.00 per individual event

SC: 2013 Burlington/Milton Open

Greetings Parents! Is everyone excited to attend our first meet in Milton? We are coming to a large facility with hockey rinks so it's a little chilly when you first walk in the building! (What a good warm-up for Nothers, hehe!) Here are the details, we're going to have a *FaNTaSTiC* time!  -GCAC Coaching Staff

One 8-lane, 25m pool
When you walk in the door, the hallway to the pool is immediately to the right!
There is limited spectator seating on deck and through a small glass viewing window. Please arrive early to ensure good seats! There is plenty of free parking on site! There is a snack bar which may be open at the tail end of the AM session + for the PM session... however you're likely to find popcorn/soda/chips/ hamburgers/slurpees/etc., i.e. not ideal for athletes during competition but yummy for spectators!

These suits are meant to be worn during competitions only.  This will extend the life of your suits and please remember to rinse them in COLD water before they AIR dry!

GCAC Fall Registration is Closed!

Hello All!  Is everyone getting ready to practice?

The Garden City Aquatic Club met this Saturday in the community room of the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatic Center for registration, and what a turn out we had!

We are pleased to announce that all of our programs are full but we have a few spaces available on our wait lists! 

We would like to extend a giant THANK YOU to Mr. Robert Di Persio for hosting a fantastic Officials clinic!  We now have 17 newly certified Officials, great job parents!


If there are more parents interested in taking the next clinic please contact Coach Beth, as there will be another opportunity coming up soon for those who missed it!

A vendor is set to be on site with t-shirts and other items for sale commemerating the event. Team Aquatic Supply will be on location all weekend for your swimming needs and convenience!

   PARA SWIMMING   
-In PARA swimming events with fewer than five entries, the event(s) will be PARA swimmers only during the preliminaries, scored as timed finals.
-In PARA swimming events with more than five or more entries, PARA swimmers will compete with able-bodied heats during the preliminaries, seeded by time then compete in a separate PARA event during finals session(s).

   AWARDS   

Able Bodied Medals: 1st - 3rd for individual events; 1st only for relays.
Able Bodied Ribbons: 4th - 8th for individuals events; 2nd + 3rd only for relays.
PARA: Medals will be awarded in IPC-eligible events only using the SNC Performance Calculator, and shall be awarded on a "mixed gender" basis to the top 3 swimmers in each event.  In order to award gold there must be at least 2 competitors, to award silver there must be at least 3 competitors and to award bronze there must be at least 4 competitors in the event.

   SPECIAL NOTES   
-ONE START rule, one false start is a DQ!
-Swimmers qualifying in one event may swim one bonus event.
-Please bring a lock to store your valuables in the locker room!
-Events seeded slowest to fastest; 800m free seeded fastest to slowest!
-The top 8 per age category and gender will proceed to finals: 13s, 14s, 15s, 16&Overs; this means there is an A Final only, there are no B Finals.

$5.00 per individual event
