there!!! Here are the details, we're going to have a SPECTACULAR meet in a FAST pool! -GCAC Coaching Staff-

Fri., June 5th + Sat., June 6th + Sun., June 7th

Western University Student Recreation Center
@ the corner of Western Road + Philip Aziz Avenue
~OFFiCiALS~
We are required to provide officials during each session in order to participate in the meet! Please register online to officiate here through our website portal here: http://www.gc-ac.ca/officials.html
~FACiLiTY~
One 50m pool with the QUANTUM timing system.
There is ample spectator seating and parking fees may be applicable.
Team Aquatic Supplies will be on-site!
~SESSiONS~
-FRiDAY AFTERNOON SESSiON-
Warm-ups @ 12:00-12:50pm / Starts @ 1:00pm
Break after the distance events! Please arrive by 3pm!
-SATURDAY+SUNDAY PRELiMS SESSiONS-
Warm-ups @ 7:30-8:20pm / Starts @ 8:30am
-SATURDAY+SUNDAY FiNALS SESSiONS-
Warm-ups @ 5:00-5:50pm / Starts @ 6:00pm
~MEET FEES~
$12.00 per relay / $3.00 each
$9.00 per individual event
$5.00 WOSA swimmer surcharge
$20.00 coaching fee (slight increase as this is an overnight meet)
~SCRATCHES~
No scratches please!
~BONUS SWiMS~
Any swimmer qualifying with one time will receive one bonus swim.
~FiNALS~
There will be an "A" final for girls and boys per age classification.
The top eight 13+Over Swimmers dequalified with an age-group provincial time will have a separate "Super Heat" in finals, not scored.
~AWARDS~
Individual Scoring: 13s, 14s, 15s, 16&Over
Relay Scoring: 13-14, 15&Over
Medals: 1st - 3rd for individual events; 1st only for relay events
Ribbons: 4th - 8th for individuals events; 2nd + 3rd only for relay events
~SPECiAL NOTES~
-ONE START rule, one false start is a DQ!
-Please bring a lock to store your valuables in the locker room!
-Prelims will be swum as combined age groups but will be separated in finals!
-Events will be seeded slowest to fastest, except in the distance events!
-The initial scratch time for finals is 30 minutes after the
conclusion of the
morning sessions. The final scratch deadline for
finals is 30 minutes prior to the start of finals!
