Greetings Parents! Is everyone excited to attend our second WOSA meet of the year? CONGRATULATIONS to all of our swimmers who qualified, we're so proud! June 3rd + 4th + 5th!
LOCATION
Windsor International Aquatic & Training Center
401 Pitt Street West, Windsor, ON N9A 0B2
FACILITY
One 72m pool divided into one 10-lane 50m pool and a 6-lane 25m warm-up pool which will be available throughout the weekend!
There is ample spectator seating and limited pay parking.
The
building houses the Adventure Bay Family Waterpark. What fun!

FINALS
There will be an "A" final for girls and boys 13s + 14s + 15s
There
will be an "A" & "B" final for girls and boys 16+Over with 30+
starts
AWARDS
Medals: 1st - 3rd for individual events; 1st only for relays.
Ribbons: 4th - 8th for individuals events; 2nd + 3rd only for relays.
Age Groupings: 10&U's, 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s, 16&O's
Relay Groupings: 10&U's, 11-12s, 13-14s, 15&O's
Para:
Medals will be awarded in lPC-eligible events only using the SNC
Performance Calculator, and shall be awarded on a "mixed gender" basis
to the top 3 swimmers in each event. In order to award GOLD there must
be at least 2 competitors, to award SILVER there must be at least 3
competitors and to award BRONZE there must be at least 4 competitors in
the event.
BONUS SWIMS
Swimmers
qualifying in one (1) event may swim three (3) bonus events!
Swimmers
qualifying in two (2) events may swim two (2) bonus events!
Swimmers
qualifying in three (3) events may swim one (1) bonus event!
Swimmers
qualifying in four or more events will have (0) bonus events!
PARA ENTRIES
Para
swimmers my enter other events in which they meet the regional time
standard, but there will not be separate Para awards for these events.
There will be no bonus swims for Para for distances greater than 100m.
In
para-swimming events with five or more entries, para-swimmers will
compete in able-bodied heats during preliminaries, seeded by time, then
compete in a para-swimming final during the FINALS SESSION.
In
para-swimming events with fewer than five entries, the event(s) will be
para-swimmer only timed finals during the PRELIMINARY SESSION.
Para-swimmers
that have the able bodies standard in any event may enter that event as
able bodies. A para-swimmer may swim as either able bodies or para in
any event they qualify for, but not both.
OFFICIALS
Welcome
parents! Here's your opportunity to get more
involved in this meet. Being on deck is much more exciting than sitting
up in the crowded stands!
The air temperature is also much cooler on
deck, on top of the other perks of officiating! Each team's required
to provide two officials per session in order for the meet to run
efficiently. Please register to sign-up for our swimmers!

SPECIAL NOTES
-ONE START rule, one false start is a DQ!
-Please bring a lock to store your valuables in the locker room!
-Absolutely NO Candyland or Sequence on deck; Guess Who & Labryrinth only.
-The meet will likely run double-ended in the AM + PM sessions only.
-13+Over prelims will swim combined but will be separated for Finals!
-Distance events may be swum with two swimmers per lane.
-Events seeded slowest to fastest; distance events seeded fastest to slowest!
-Swimmers who've achieved an Age Group Provincial time standard in an event (SC or LC) are ineligible to compete in that event.
-Swimmers who've qualified for 3+ events for the Canadian Age Groups are ineligible to compete in this meet.
