Greetings Parents! Is everyone excited to attend the prestigious Hicken International? This will be our fourth time racing in this fun meet, back in our favourite pool again :) Here are the details, we're thrilled and can't wait!

One 50m ten-lane competition pool with electronic timing! The meet will run double-ended for all sessions, except finals!
There is ample spectator seating and parking; there is an overflow lot adjacent to the facility. There is also a GO station one block away on YMCA drive if additional parking is needed!

~Live Streaming~
During the afternoon and evening sessions, all heats will be live streamed on the internet, as well as images placed on the scoreboard! Please visit www.mississaugaswimming.com for the live stream link!
~Heat Sheets~
There will be NO printed heat sheets available for purchase at the meet!
Each session will be RE-SEEDED to include scratches and deck entries, prior to the start of the meet (30 minutes prior, halfway through warm-up).
The UPDATED heat sheets will be provided online! You may find them at the MSSAC website, www.mississaugaswimming.com!
~Officials~

~Finals~
The age group categories for finals: 13+14; 15+Overs!
There will be A+B Finals (Top 20) for all 100m + 200m events!
There will be an A+B+C Finals (Top 30) for all 50m events!
Finals Procedure:
B+C Finals will report to the blocks after checking in with the clerk of course.
A Finals will march on from the shallow end of the pool!

Individual: Age Groups-10&U, 11-12, 13-14, 15&O
Medals 1st-3rd; Ribbons 4th-10th!
Relays: 10&U, 11-12, 13-14, 15&O

Golden Crown: Top Male + Top Female 50m free in the Golden Crown event:
13+14 Girls + Boys, 15&O Girls + Boys
1st place will receive a new Arena Carbon Series Racing Suit
2nd place will receive a mystery prize
3rd place will receive a mystery prize
10&U Girls + Boys, 11+12 Girls + Boys
1st place will receive a $50 Gift Card
2nd place will receive $100
3rd place will receive $50
12&Under swimmers will have BELL PRIZE heats; the bell will ring before the heat and the first person to touch will win a randomly selected prize!
The Top 5 Female and Top 5 Male overall FINA point prizes:
1st place will receive $500
2nd-5th place will receive mystery prizes
~Special Notes~
~All events for 12&U are Timed Finals!
~Events will be swum fastest to slowest.
~ONE START rule, one false start is a DQ!
~Maximum three individual events per session.
~There is positive check-in for all 400m events and all finals!
~Meet management has the right to double up the 400m free heats.
~There will be LIMITED cell phone use during this meet, as we want our kids FOCUSED on their races, bonding with and cheering for their teammates :)
~Please bring a MASTERLOCK to store your valuables in a locker!
~All scratches from Finals must be done within 30 minutes after the prelims session has finished!
