2017 Ontario Summer Short Course Festivals!
Hosted by the Markham Aquatic Club!
DATES
June 24th + 25th
LOCATION
Markham Pan AM Pool!
16 Main Street
Unionville, ON L3R 2E5
FACILITY
One 50m pool divided into two 25m pools; one side may be open for warm-up and warm-down throughout the meet. There is plenty of spectator seating, and free parking with an overflow lot adjacent to the property. In case the parking lots reach capacity, you may park at the GO Station on YMCA drive!
There is a cafe on site, but families might want to pack extra food just in case.
SESSIONS
Girls 12s + Girls/Boys 13s + 14s - Saturday Morning!
Warm-ups ~ Boys @ 7:30-8:10am / Girls @ 8:10-8:50am
~ Starts @ 9:00am / Finishes @ 12:45pm
Boys 12s + ALL 11&Unders - Saturday + Sunday Afternoons
Warm-ups @ 1:00pm / Starts @ 2:00pm / Finishes @ 6:00pm
Girls 12s + Girls/Boys 13s + 14s - Sunday Morning!
Warm-ups ~ Girls @ 7:30-8:10am / Boys @ 8:10-8:50am
~ Starts @ 9:00am / Finishes @ 12:45pm
MEET FEES
$12.00 per individual event
$5.65 splash fee per swimmer
$16.00 per relay ($4.00 each)
$20.00 coaching fee (**overnight meet**)
$7.00 towards Team Swag Bags
Please submit fees by Mon., June 19th

Qualified Swimmers may receive only ONE bonus swim!
PARTICIPANT RECOGNITION PACKAGE
Each athlete may be given the following items commemorating the event:
~Rucksack
~Festival Cap
SPECIAL NOTES
~All events are timed finals; one false start rule applies!
~Events will be seeded from slowest to fastest!
~Please bring a lock to store your valuables in a locker!
~Absolutely NO Playstation on deck; Nintendo is permitted!
~Swimmers are permitted to enter 6 events maximum!
~Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of warm-up!
~Please ensure your swimmer has a good night sleep before race day(s)!
~Medals will be awarded for 1st-3rd place; Ribbons awarded for 4th-8th place!
