BNA Short Course Invitational
~DATE~
Sunday, January 10th
~LOCATION~
Elinor Misener Aquatic Centre @ Brock University
~OFFICIALS~
We are required to provide officials during the meet! You can e-mail your interest and position you'd like to fill directly to the Officials Coordinator Chris Grover at cgrover38@yahoo.ca.
~FACILITY~
One 50m pool divided into two 25m pools; warm-up and warm-down may be available in the other side of the pool during certain periods of the day.
There is limited spectator seating; parking fees ($7?) apply. Spectators may wish to bring fans, pack lots of water, and dress lightly due to the heat!
~COMPETITION STRUCTURE~
This is a combined session meet, with all age groups swimming at the same time in all events. Swimmers will be seeded together according to entry times, regardless of age or gender. Our swimmers will only swim in the AM session due to the nature of the timeline; only a few in need of a time standard will swim in the second session.

Warm-ups @ 7:30-8:55am / Starts @ 9:00am
We will begin warm-ups as a team at 8:00am! Parents may still wish to arrive early though, based on limited spectator seating!
Sunday PM Session***select
Warm-ups @ one hour after the completion of the morning session.
~MEET FEES~
$8.50 per individual event
$10.00 coaching fee
~SCRATCH DEADLINE~
Tuesday, December 29th!
~AWARDS~
Ribbons for 1st - 8th places for all individuals events.
Age Groups: 10&U, 11-12 (combined), 13-14 (combined); no awards for 15&O.
~SPECIAL NOTES~
-ONE START rule, one false start is a DQ!
-Please bring a lock to store your valuables in the locker room!
-Events will be seeded slowest to fastest, except in the distance events!
-Swimmers will NOT be permitted to hang out in the sauna's in the lockerrooms!
-Distance events may be swum two per lane if necessary!
-Swimmers may be marshaled for their events or report directly to the blocks.
